I sit and try to imagine what it is I'm in for, or I'm impatiently pacing hoping to fall through the floor. Eyes always focused on the score, hands always reaching out for more. And I'm always feeling like we're rotting from the core.

Is this city under water?

I tried to pick up the pieces that fell behind, but they never ever settle down at all.

I want to settle up the score against the things that I hate, but I contemplate and procrastinate and I never irritate. We talk about how things could be better but making them worse. We acknowledge there's a problem but the problem's never first.
